Mozzarella Chicken

This chicken has a thick & creamy sauce.  It would be really good if you put the extra sauce on top of a baked potato.  This is a super easy and short ingredient recipe!  You can make this beforehand and bake hours later.

This recipe comes from the Worldwide Ward Cookbook.

Mozzarella Chicken

Ingredients (for 2 servings...see below for 4-6 servings)

2 chicken breasts
1/2-3/4 can cream of chicken soup
1/3-1/2 cup bread crumbs(mine were italian seasoned)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (if you want it to be "cheesy" add more)
1 tbsp. butter, melted
(these measurements worked perfect for my chicken, but it really just depends on how big your chicken breasts are.  Add more or less if you have small/large pieces of chicken.  You really can't mess this recipe up!)

Arrange chicken in a greased pan.  Pour the cream of chicken soup directly over the top of the chicken (you want it thick).  Sprinkle the cheese over the top of soup, and then sprinkle the bread crumbs over the cheese.  Pour butter over bread crumbs.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until sauce is bubbly and chicken is no longer pink.

When I made this I baked it for 30 min at 350 and then an extra 15 min at 375.

*Ingredients (for 4-6)*
4-6 chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 1/2-2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 cups bread crumbs
3 tbsp. butter
